Do you like to drink water?

Eek!

That is frightening. I've also heard that milk has had the same effects with young girls, due to all the horomones in it.

But a prudential question. Does this mean we should be drinking bottled water? Or should we just go on as before? How real is this danger right now?

Well, I drink bottled water anyway since I live in the city. I think if you are living in a densely populated area, it makes sense to get bottled water. Of course, if you live in a rural area, beautiful and tasty well water is the best option. A note with bottled water: you really have to verify where it comes from, because it's been noted that companies like Dasani (really Coca Cola) are not getting spring water but really just purifying normal tap water.

Dasani is treated with reverse osmosis, a purification process that is nearly as effective as distillation. It removes fluoride, about which you should be far more worried. Fluoride is a cumulative poison, a by-product of aluminum production, and not something you should ingest in any quantities. A small tube of toothpaste has enough fluoride to kill a small child.

Note that the source of the estrogen was treated sewage which was then pumped into the rivers. Unless your drinking water is coming from a river, you probably needn't worry.

However, water is not as strictly delineated as that implies. I agree we should worry about fluoride (and cities that choose to treat their water with fluoride make a huge mistake), but we must also face the fact that our water systems are by no means completely safe from other pollutants, especially hormones which cannot be filtered out.

Heh. Steve Mosher and I were among the first in the pro-life field to report on this.

I never really liked water, anyway. . .
